Welp, I just got done beaing a Team Leader for 6 weeks at a summer camp. It was so much fun and I learned more than I could have ever imagined. I miss my kids and my co-workers. I'll just post some of my favorite sayings from that either my kids said to me or a fellow staffer said lol.
haha I had a sweet little diva girl in my group for about 3 weeks. I love her so much! These two are from her:
"You're not married?!"
A: "Why are you talking like a teenager?"
Me: "Because I am a teenager."
A:"No you're not" with a dead serious face hahahaha hilarious. My kids always think I'm like 40 or something. I like Julia who always said "She's only 19!" to which my reply, " Thank you Julia!" hahaha
One of the boys in my group. I decided to use my bus captians method to deal with this situation lol. we had just explained a game.
C: What if we go out of bounds?
Me: then you're out
C: What if lose the ball
Me: Than you lose
C: Well, What if lose the ball and go out of bounds? (something like that)
Me: *JUmp up* What if...What if...the cow jumped over the mooooonnn and then it never came back and what if it got lost and what if what if then?!
C: *looks at me in a very confused way
ME: exactly
We both ended up laughing lol. I don't think he understood what happened there. But that was the end of those questions for the whole week.
One final story I had alot of twins in my group and one pair of twins even had their little brother in my group too. I work with 1st and 2nd graders and yes this is all necessary to understan the following story : )
Me: E where's your snack?
E: I don't have one.
Me: You don;t have one?! with fake alarm
E: nodds but I have nuts in here *points to tummy*'
Me: Oh you're nuts up here? *points to head
E: Noooo I have nuts in here *points to tummy*
Me: Hey Sean Eva says she's nuts up here *points to head* (E is giggling now lol)
Here twin brother come over.
J: I've lost my marbles hehehe
Me: You've lost your marbles?! What's up with this W family? haahaha (both E and J are laughing)
They're little brother comes over, he's in first grade and doesn't really understand.
A: I've lost my blackberries! he states proudly.
It was so cute I laughed so hard lol. Those kids.
I had a great time this summer all my wonderful kids! I got to be a big kid myself and wierd and wacky! Itt was so much fun. I will forever remeber this summer and Laura's valley girl twist to my "Skkkkeeeerrrttt" lol. awww good times good times : )
